Patrick Cutter and his wife Azure quit their jobs to start a nearly 7,000 mile trek from the country's northern-most point accessible by roads in Alaska to the furthest point south in Key West, Florida to raise awareness of mental health and suicide prevention. Dance to SAVE Fundraiser Saturday, July 31, 2010 Roosevelt Middle School 650 125th Ave. NE, Blaine MN, 55434
This dance event is memory of Kevin James Buchman and is being done in conjunction with television's popular So You Think You Can Dance – National Dance Day. This day is about getting people of all ages together to dance. It is about health & wellness, and dancing to save lives. All participants will be invited to dance on the gymnasium floor and learn a short dance choreographed by Napoleon and Tabitha of So You Think You Can Dance. After the dance has been learned, the participants will perform while being video recorded. The recording will be submitted to So You Think You Can Dance. All participants will receive a Dance To SAVE t-shirt and will be eligible for prizes to be drawn at the end of the event. The event is from 10am – 2pm. Check-in/Registration begins at 10am, with a suggested donation of $15 per participant. Concessions will be sold, and a silent auction and bake sale held. Join the Northfield Bike Club for the 8th annual Tour de Nick, riding through the rolling hills of the beautiful Cannon River Valley. Various ride lenghts are available for all ages and abilities. Annual golf tournament to benefit SAVE and the Craig Hanson Memorial Fund. Golfers of all abilities are welcome.
