Fashion Show
8th Annual
May 30, 2013

Nicollet Island Pavilion
Minneapolis, MN

The 8th Annual SAVE Fashion Show will be held at the beautiful Nicollet Island Pavilion. Come experience the spectacular views of downtown Minneapolis and the Stone Arch Bridge from the garden terrace and patio of this enchanting island park on the Mississippi River. There will be great food, music, silent auction and of course unique fashions!

This year's fashions will be specially designed by local designers. With the help of our local celebrities, this event will be an evening to remember.

You can be a host to your friends with your own table of 8. That includes table seating, a private cocktail hour out on the terrace from 5:30-6:30pm and a special gift that will be placed at your table.

General Admission Tickets: $40 ($50 at the door)
VIP Tickets: $100. Reserved seating and cocktail hour from 5:30 - 6:30.
VIP Tables of 8: $1,500. Table seating, cocktail hour and special gift at your table.

Complimentary VALET PARKING will be available to all guests.

Games for a Cause - donate previously used or new video games at the Fashion Show and a portion of the value will be donated to SAVE by COKeM International. Platforms accepted NDS, 3DS, WII, X360, Kinect and PS3. You will receive one raffle ticket for every game you donate!

Emotions In Motions: Walk/Run for Mental Health will be an event for the entire family and will revolve around a 5K Walk/Run at Alton Baker Park in Eugene, OR. The park is one of Eugene's most popular parks. This event was created out of love and hope and with the proceeds benfiting SAVE. Suicide Awareness Voices of Education.

The event will have entertainment for every age group and is meant for the whole family to enjoy. Music, Kids Zone, Food and a Raffle are just some of the activities planned in addition to the 5K. The spirit of the event is one of fun, family, friends, awareness and community involvement.

You don't need to walk to participate! You are welcome to stay at the park area to welcome walkers and runners as they return.

Roll for the Soul

Roll for the Soul started with a Skateboarding Competition and a BBQ. This year we added a 5K Run/Walk with the proceeds benefitng SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education). By walking, running or skateboarding, you will be helping SAVE in raising awareness about depression, suicide and provide support for survivors of suicide loss.

Check-In for 5K Run/Walk - 9:00 a.m.-10 a.m.
5K Starts - 10:00 a.m.
Skate Boarding Contest Registration - Noon
Contest Starts - 1:00 p.m.
BBQ will be available from 11:00 a.m. until activities are finished

This year's location will be at Otsego Prairie Park. The 5K will start and end at the park and the Skate Boarding Contest will take place there as well. The route is wheel chair and stroller accessible.

Online registration closes at noon the Friday before the Ride. However, anyone who would like to participate can register in person at the event site. Please come at least 30 minutes before the start of the Ride to fill out your registration and waiver.

Please join SAVE on Saturday, July 27th, 2013for our Charity Motorcycle Run: Ride to SAVE Lives West Metro. All proceeds go directly to SAVE, Suicide Awareness Voices of Education.

The ride will go 100 miles through beautiful Minnesota RAIN or SHINE. Riders will depart promptly at 10:00 a.m. from Vics Bar & Grill in Victoria and will end there as well. There will be lunch, prizes, raffle and more, so make sure you stick around once the ride is over.

Please make sure you arrive with enough time to check in and sign the waiver. Coffee and rolls will be available as well.

Join the Northfield Bike Club for the 10th annual Tour de SAVE, formerly Tour de Nick bike ride through beautiful Rice and Goodhue counties east of Northfield, MN. There are several routes available for everyone from families to the serious rider. Choose from three ride lengths, 10, 20 and 50 miles; the 10-mile route is perfect for the casual rider and families, The 20-mile route will offer a bit more distance while the 50-mile route will offer challenging hills and beautiful vistas.

The ride begins at Riverside Park, Northfield, MN at 9 a.m. Riders of all abilites make their way out of town in a mile of silent tribute to those who lost their lives to suicide. Each route will have a designated ride leader to make sure everyone gets off the road safely.

Tour de Nick jerseys are available at the SAVE office for $60.00 or click to order one. Jerseys will also be availble the day of the ride.

Tour de SAVE - Brevard, FL

6:30 am - Registration. Bike mechanical support available
*Participants must arrive no less than 30 min prior to their ride to allow for check-in.
7:30 am - 40 Mile Ride begins
7:45 - 15 Mile Ride begins

Please join us for the Tour de SAVE bike in Brevard, FL. Choose from 2 ride lengths, 15 or 40 miles. From the beginner rider to the more serious riders.

The ride begins at Gleason Park, 1233 Yacht Club Blvd., Indian Harbour Beach, FL and will proceed south on Riverside Drive (along the river). All riders will pass Ryckman Park then split at A1A. 15 miles riders will head back to Gleason Park while the 40 mile riders will continue South on A1A where they will ride along side the ocean dunes of South Brevard County before returning to Gleason Park. Riders of all abilities make their way out of town in a mile of silent tribute to those who lost their lives to suicide. Each route will have a designated ride leader to make sure everyone gets off the road safely.

The Tour de SAVE 2013 is open to everyone! Since the ride is a fundraiser we have a few items to note.

  • HELMETS ARE MANDATORY
  • All participants must abide by state and local traffic rules
  • There will be a SAG Support vehicle following the Riders, available to assist those needing medical or mechanical support.

Tour de SAVE - Virginia

Depression is a treatable medical illness marked by changes in mood, thoughts, energy and behavior that affects more than 23 million adult Americans each year. It is the most common serious brain disease in the United States. SAVE's mission is to prevent suicide through public awareness and education, reduce stigma and serve as a resource for those touched by suicide.

Please join us for the Tour de SAVE bike ride on the W&OD Trail. The Ride will start at the Zero mile mark in Shirlington. Riders will make their way out of town in a mile of silent tribute to those who lost their lives to suicide.

Tour de SAVE - Chicago

August 10, 2013

Please join us for the Tour de SAVE bike ride through many of Chicago's eclectic and culturally diverse neighborhoods. You will be riding through the West Loop, Pilsen, Bridgeport, Little Village, Douglas Park, Humboldt Park, Logan Square, Lincoln Square, North Center, Old Town and Wicker Park for a total of 35 miles.

The route is inspired by Geoffrey Baer's PBS program "Biking the Boulevards." The route will go through many of Chicago's tree-lined boulevards.

The ride begins at Union Park in Chicago's Near West side at 8:30 a.m. Riders of all abilities make their way out of town in a mile of silent tribute to those who lost their lives to suicide.

Tour de SAVE jerseys are available at the SAVE office for $60.00. Please call 952-946-7998 for more information. Jerseys will also be available the day of the ride.

If you are a survivor of suicide loss, we encourage you to bring a non-returnable photo of your loved one to the Walk to add to the Remembrance Tent.

SAVE's Remembrance Tent is an opportunity for Walkers to share special photos and written memories of their loved ones with others. Kids will be able to make something special to hang in the tent as well.

Dogs are welcomed at the Walk! Bring your doggie to the Walk and register them at the Paws for a Cause tent. For a $10 donation you will receive a SAVE doggie bandana and a treat for your friend.

Resource tables hosted by local businesses and non-profits will be available to all by 8:00 a.m. If you are a vendor and would like to participate, please call the SAVE office at 952-946-7998 and ask for Linda or lmars@save.org.
