Volunteer with SAVE
SAVE is a national nonprofit, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, so most of our volunteer opportunities are in the Twin Cities area. However, we are always looking for people interested in helping from a distance as well.
SAVE relies on its volunteers to carry out the organization's mission. Volunteers are integral to SAVE's success in delivering its three primary focus areas of public awareness, education and resources. If you choose to volunteer with SAVE, we guarantee you will make a difference by reducing the stigma of depression and by educating about depression, other brain illnesses and suicide prevention.
There are many opportunities for volunteers, including
- Helping in the SAVE office
- Speaking in the community
- Staffing tables or booths
- Writing for the "Voices" newsletter
- Creating and serving on committees for local and national events
- And more
If you are interested in learning more about volunteering for SAVE, please contact Ashley Seeler, administrative assistant, at aseeler@save.org or call at 952-946-7998. We will send you a brief form to complete telling us about yourself and your volunteer interests with SAVE. Thank you for considering joining this important effort!
