SAVE x RAADD

Raising Awareness About Digital Dangers (RAADD) empowers parents and children in the digital era. RAADD promotes play-based childhood and real-world interactions through weekly meetings and resources, fostering a community of shared ideas for safe digital engagement. RAADD addresses the impact of smartphones and social media on children’s health and legal risks, providing vital guidance to protect them.

Tune into RAADD founder and CEO Margot L. Denommé’s conversation with SAVE CEO Erich Mische to learn more about their work and why they support the KiDS Campaign and warning labels on unregulated social media platforms. KiDS’ multimedia art scholarship contest is supported by three dozen international mental health, tech, and youth-focused organizations working to make social media safer.

KiDS: Keep It Digitally Safe represents organizations across five continents. Its scholarship contest launched in February and will accept submissions for warning labels on social media platforms through the end of September 2025. The art contest encourages young people and others to design creative “labels” in a variety of mediums to raise awareness of the dangers youth face on unregulated platforms and encourage systemic change through comprehensive legislative solutions like warning labels and age-appropriate design codes. Prizes are:

  • 1st Place: $5,000 scholarship
  • 2nd Place: $3,000 scholarship
  • 3rd Place: $2,000 scholarship

Spread the word and submit your ideas at keepitdigitallysafe.org. Participants may enter individually or in teams of up to five members. Submissions can include artwork, slogans, videos, and other creative media.
