Why Host a Let’s Talk About It Program

In any given year, 1 in 4 adults experiences mental illness. For youth, the numbers range from 1 in 8 to 1 in 12.  Early recognition and treatment of symptoms are critical components to minimizing or preventing the long-term consequences of mental illness. Let’s Talk About It raises awareness and provides crucial information, such as identifying community resources, while connecting individuals with other community members.
